Introduction to ICAN

ICAN can help you get what you need from your Medicaid health insurance.

What is ICAN?

ICAN is a program that helps people with Medicaid in New York. We can answer your questions about Medicaid managed care plans and long term care.

ICAN is independent. We are not related to your health insurance company or healthcare providers.

ICAN is free. The New York State Department of Health funds our work.

ICAN is confidential. We can only share your information if you give us permission.

ICAN is a network of non-profit organizations throughout New York State.
